Your summer. Your Rules.*

* - At least as far as what you read all summer. The lawyers said we have to have conditions on the prizes.

To be eligible for the prize drawings in the 2018 Elkhart Public Library summer reading program, you must be 18 years of age or younger. Also, you must meet one of these three requirements:

- Reside within Elkhart Public Library's service area (Concord, Osolo and Cleveland townships and/or the city of Elkhart); or
-  Be a student of Elkhart Community Schools, Concord Community Schools, or any private school located within Elkhart Public Library's service area; or
- Have a current non-resident Elkhart Public Library card

Proof of school enrollment may be required. Employees of Elkhart Public Library and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

To enter, submit the answer to a book review question at any of the five Elkhart Public Library locations. Additionally, video book reviews can be submitted on Instagram and Facebook - just tag Elkhart Public Library (@myepl) to participate.

Prize finalists, drawn at random from entries received to that point, will be named on Elkhart Public Library’s Facebook page every Friday starting May 25. Additional finalists may be drawn at library locations throughout the summer - event announcements will be made on Facebook. The last finalist will be drawn Monday, July 16, and the winners will be announced during the U-93 Summer Reading Rocks celebration 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 19, at the Pierre Moran library, 2400 Benham Ave., Elkhart.
